Fairview Cemetery

Worth County, Missouri

The cemetery is located 4-3/4 miles south of Grant City on a knoll 1/4 mile south of the intersection of US-169 and Rte M. It is on the west side, and occupies just under 1/2 acre. The entrance is 400' south. The construction of US-169 widened a dirt/gravel road and flattened the hill, leaving the cemetery well above the highway and nearly out of sight. The front of the small church would have been located about where the bank begins to drop to the highway. No one is certain when the church was eliminated, but it still shows on the 1930 county plat map.
