1877 Plat Maps
This set of plat maps follows the standard rule of measurement for surveys. Each township is exactly 6 miles square. This is unlike a "political" township that can be any size. Refer to the county map for clarification.
Township 65 North is the bottom tier of political townships.
Range 30 West is the east 6 miles of Allen Twp.
Range 31 West is the west 2 miles of Allen Twp and the east 4 miles of Middle Fork Twp.
Range 32 West is the west 2 miles of Middle Fortk Twp and the east 4 miles of Greene Twp.
Range 33 West is the west 3 miles of Greene Twp.
Township 66 North includes all but the top 1 mile of the top tier of political townships. That 1 mile is Township 67 North.
Range 30 West is all of Smith Twp except the top 1 mile, which is Township 67 North, Range 30 West.
Range 31 West is all of Fletchall Twp except the top 1 mile, which is Township 67 North, Range 31 West.
Range 32 West is the east 6 miles of Union Twp except the top 1 mile, which is Township 67 North, Range 32 West.
Range 33 West is the west 3 miles of Union Twp except the top 1 mile, which is Township 67 North, Range 33 West.
The complete set of plat maps consist of 28 individual digital maps. Each township range is divided into 4 parts...northwest, southwest, southeast, and northeast. Range 33 has a north and south for each township.
